Highlights of the Touring Route
The best of Australia is showcased on the Great Southern Touring Route.
Better still it promises unique experiences for travellers wanting to discover
"the real Australia". National icons abound and popular attractions are plentiful.
Located on the Great Ocean Road shoreline, these giant limestone stacks have been
eroded over the centuries from the cliffs by nature. They are breathtaking anytime of
year, with spectacular sunsets real highlights. Easily accessible, there’s a visitor
centre with safe parking, a walkway with interpretative signs leading to viewing
platforms.
Other adjacent features include the Loch Ard Gorge, the sight of a
tragic shipwreck, the Arch, the Blowhole and the nearby Bay of Islands.
