Description: Looking for a unique surfing experience where you won’t get your feet wet and that you won’t find anywhere else in the world? Then visit the Australian National Surfing Museum. Featuring the Australian Surfing Hall Of Fame, a theatre that screens some of the world’s best surf films, informative themed exhibition spaces, dozens of stunning photographs, and an unrivalled collection of surfboards, the Museum is recognised by the International Surfing Association as one of “the most significant centres of world surfing heritage”.

Type of operation: Surf and Beach Culture Museum.

Location: Torquay, 1 hour 20 minutes drive from Melbourne.

Opening times: Open daily from 9am-5pm. Closed December 25.

Advance bookings required for group tours.

Facilities: Visitor Information Centre, gifts and theatrette seating 70 people.
