Werribee Open Range Zoo

Description: Experience an African adventure across over 200 hectares of beautiful natural surrounds just 30 minutes from Melbourne. Join a guided safari tour across the open range savannah spotting rhinos, giraffes, endangered African antelopes, zebra and more! Come face-to-face with a pride of lions on the African walking trail, visit the expansive gorilla exhibit, get up close to cheetah on the prowl, discover a family of hippos in their spectacular wetland home.

Visit the Australia Trail, home to some of our iconic native wildlife such as koalas, kangaroos, emus and more.

Opening times: 9am-5pm daily - last entry 3.30pm. Safari bus tours departs regularly from 10.30am, last tour 3.40pm.

Entrance fee inclusions: 40 minute guided safari, walking trails, school holiday activities, wildlife viewing & more. Under 16 free entry weekends and on Victorian school holidays.
