Description: Experience the world’s largest surfing and beach culture museum which houses the Australian Surfing Hall of Fame as part of its comprehensive surfing displays. Surf World features a live surf board shaping bay, an exciting ‘board room’ and a theatre that screens some of the world’s best surf and travel films. Recognised as one of “the most significant centres of world surfing heritage”, by the International Surfing Association, Surf World is one surf adventure not to be missed.

Location: 1 hour 30 minutes drive from Melbourne via Princes Fwy, located in Surf City Plaza, behind Torquay’s surf shopping centre.
Opening times: Open daily from 9am-5pm. Advance bookings required for guided tours.
Facilities: Theatrette seating 70 visitors, gift shop and visitor centre.
