Step back in time – from the hustle and bustle of Main Street where costumed ladies and gents parade their wealth, to the excitement of the diggings where you can pan for real gold. By night, experience Sovereign Hill’s new sound and light show, AURA. Be instantly transported into an immersive multi-sensory experience, guided through pastoral settlements to the rich cultural tapestry of life on the goldfields.

Location: 1 hour 30 minutes’ drive from Melbourne via Western Fwy.

Opening times: Sovereign Hill: 10am-5pm daily except Christmas Day. Gold Museum: 9.30am-5.30pm daily except Christmas Day.
